Yes. The Digitip payment page accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay and all debit/credit cards — no app needed for the customer.
Indefinitely. There's no battery, no active electronics. The SmartTag works by induction. We offer lifetime replacement if it breaks.
Yes. A single Digitip account can manage unlimited venues and teams, each with their own SmartTags and analytics.
No problem. Lifetime hardware replacement is included with every pack. Email us a photo and we'll ship a new one free of charge.
Not to order SmartTags. To collect tips, the business verifies itself once, right inside Digitip (the manager's identity and bank details) — the check anti-money-laundering rules require. Your employees have no account to create and nothing to do: tips are attributed to them by name and you pass them on through payroll.
From the service fee, paid by the person leaving the tip — never from the tip itself. For a €10 tip the customer pays €10.75 in total: €0.25 fixed plus 5% of the tip. You receive the full €10. Of the 75 cents of fees, about €0.41 goes to Stripe (€0.25 fixed + 1.5% of the amount charged) and €0.34 goes to Digitip for infrastructure, support and ongoing development. No subscription, no monthly fee, and nothing out of your pocket.
